The RYA has increased it's reach around the world in recent years. Once strictly a British 'thing', you can now find recognised RYA training establishments as far afield from the UK as New Zealand. In fact, they're becoming quite popular both here and in Australia relative to other European countries.

We work with a variety of sailing school in New Zealand, all located in classic, beautiful sailing waters.

Both the Start Yachting and Competent Crew syllabus takes no account of tides, hence the courses are the same the world over. This region is classed as a tidal area for all other RYA training courses. For shorebased courses look at the shorebased course listing.
